I have done all of the divisons now except for 2. Here is the N.L Central.
N.L. Central
1.) Chicago Cubs - 89-73 - The Cubs are set for another divison crown. This is a team who always seems to bomb in the playoffs. They are NOT a very good team, but beat out the Brewers because they are not as injury prone.
2.) Milwaukee Brewers - 86-76 - The Brewers have issues that are few, but the ones they have are nagging. They don't have a strong bullpen, they are consistanty missing starters like Ben Sheets to injury's.
3.) Cincinnati Reds - 81-81 - This is another team on the rise. They have built around a player in Brandon Phillps, and have acwired an ace in Aaron Harang. Ken Griffey JR. will be in the spotlight this season because he is chasing 600 homeruns.
4.) St.Louis Cardinals - 78-84 - This Cardinals team is on the road of decline that only leads you to one stop: rebuilding. It is hard to believe that 2 years ago this was the best team in baseball. This is a team that is now nothing because they lost Chris Carpenter.
5.) Houston Astros - 76-86 - This team currently is rebuilding after there suprise N.L. pennant. But that was because they had Andy Pettitte, Roger Clemens, and Roy Oswalt. Now they only have Oswalt. The lack of any major offense other than Tejada and Berkman will hold the building process back another year.
6.) Pittsburgh Pirates - 71-91 - The Pirates never seem to leave the divison basement. I like some of there pitching, but there offense is a concern. Jason Bay is good, but they don't have much else. They have 3 good offensive players in Jason Bay, Freddy Sancez, and Adam LaRoce.
