Our story begins here...

... and to make a long story short because I have very little time, Eli Manning's head was wanted during the middle of the season after his horrid performace against the Minnesota Vikings. People were lining up outside his house with torches and pitchforks.

Yet how does a QB go from dust to hero?

The story starts with the last week of the regular season. The Giants went in hoping to break the Pats perfect season yet they failed but Manning showed good skills and from then on he went all the way. Eli and the Giants first knocked off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the team who had a great year and was predicted to move on. Yet Eli finds a way to drive his team to the second round. By this time fans are not calling for his head... for now.

Then the Giants knocked off Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the fight after the Boys' were predicted to move, I mean after all they had great weapons and yet in the end Eli found a way to work with what he had to get his team to the next round. Then in the third round of the fight where they played the Packers in a much surprising game where people were probably getting their pitchforks ready after the so-called performance Eli did. And yet again Eli works with what he has and somehow helps in the process to advance his team.

Eli's true miracle though was yet to come.

In the most watched event ever in football the Super Bowl was just around the corner. The Giants were preparing to face the perfect Patriots again. This time looking to win. The Patriots were heavily favored to win the Super Bowl while the Giants would be crushed by an unfathomable amount of points.

Eli however found a way to look past all of this. The Giants lead most of the game until the Patriots came back later on by a TD catch by Randy Moss. The Giants are slowly running out of time and need a miracle. This is where Eli has his miracle. He looked like he was going to be sacked yet miracously he escaped the heat and with Patriots defenders chasing after him, Eli chucked up in the air for anyone to catch. And it was David Tyree the little known WR who caught the ball on his helmet while getting heat from Rodney Harrison. Harrison tried to get that ball but failed. This play gave Eli, the Giants and others a reason to believe. Bill watched with scorn while others watched in awe of this miracle.

After this miracle another one came along. After a stuggle with sometimes in the season and in the the Playoffs, Manning throws a pass to Plaxico Burress in the corner of the end zone to secure a victory and a miracle. So this story was about a man and his miacle and how he and his team overcame struggles throughout the season to win big.

One of the dumbest posts I have ever seen. Completely belittles the accomplishments of Eli Manning and the NY Giants this past season. It's ok though, true Giants fans know that it wasn't a miracle, but sheer perseverance that won us the Super Bowl. With great success comes many haters.

The GIANTS were the better team at XLII--pure and simple.
To the victor goes the spoils....end of story.
The PATRIOTS might have another perfect regular season in '08.
