Good day FanNation. I'm not a begger by nature but I am begging now. Why am I begging you might ask? Well, not too long ago I became the administrator of the St. John's Red Storm Fan Group. This is something that is close to me because as a kid I longed to go to St. John's. It's because I followed the basketball team. Yes, I have childhood memories of Chris Mullin, Mark Jackson, Felipe Lopez, Ron Artest, and in my late teens I have Erick Barkley, and Omar Cook. I remember Louie Carnasseca and his sweaters. That's the reason why I wanted to go to Saint John's University.
As scientists have recently proved college attendance is linked to how schools performed athletically. Although, St. John's have hit some lean years, I was reminded of the glory days and that influenced my decision.
So, why am I begging? I'm begging because I want to know if there are others out there who love St. John's and the Red Storm as much as I do. I need members because I do not want something that I have a deep emotional connection to, to become dormant. No, FanNation I want to turn this group from dormant to dominant. So please join me in my crusade to bring the Storm to the Nation. I need members, and I need bloggers. Please do not make me beg again, so come one come all!!!!
As usual thanks for reading.

Report Offensive CommentI'm with you NYFAN. I already knew you were in. I didn't go to a game this season but going to games at the Garden, and I went to a couple at Alumni Hall when I was a student there were great experiences.

Report Offensive CommentWe will return. St. John's will either come back to prominence, or realize that we need to compete on a smaller level.
If the Big East fails, I think we would be a good MAAC or NEC program.
