The Los Angeles Dodgers came back in the ninth inning to tie the Milwaukee Brewers at three runs a piece. Los Angeles racked up eleven hits in the game, whereas the Brewers were held to only four. Milwaukee has achieved a 16-10 record thus far through Spring Training 2008.
Brad Penny started his final game of the Pre-Season. The ace only pitched three innings, surrendering one run in the outing. However, the hurler walked five batters in today's game. Although his Earned-Run Average of 0.95 is stunning, five walks in three innings is nothing to write home about.
Clayton Kershaw was the star on the mound today, throwing three scoreless innings. The future-ace struck out six batters while giving up only one hit. I can hardly wait to see this phenominal pitcher take the mound during the Regular Season.
James Loney batted .500 in today's game with an RBI-single in the top of the first-inning. The first-baseman is now batting .253 during Spring Training. I'm confident that the slugger will step up to the plate during the Regular Season and produce spectacular statistics.
Tony Abreu connected for one hit in four at-bats against the Brewers. The promising athlete played second-base, while Blake DeWitt stepped in at third-base. Since Joe Torre declared that Abreu will be the Dodgers' starting third-baseman for Opening Day 2008, I'm surprised to see him playing at a different position before the Regular Season.
The Dodgers are scheduled to play against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at 7:05 PM on Thursday.

Oh, great, another tie involving Milwaukee.
I'm thinking future ace is awfully big stuff to say.

Kershaw was awesome last season with the Great Lakes Loons. Another top player to come out of the Midwest League. I hope he's dominant with the Suns this season, too.

Thank you, RUGator. I love blogging about the Dodgers on a daily basis. Dodger Daydreams is almost a daily commitment to the FanNation and Baseball community. Also, I have joined the MLB Fan Club (is that the group you were referring to?) and I send out my posts on their network.

I hate ties - and lucky the Regular Season goes into Extra-Innings.

I think that Clayton Kershaw will probably be on the Dodgers' Opening Day Roster, although I'm not yet sure about his role in the Dodgers' Pitching Staff.
