I cannot believe that only 11,000 fans showed up at yesterdays game. They are in first place and the fans still do not come out. I was there as I always am supporting the Birds. Great job O's. Even if you start to go down hill I will be there supporting you.

First of all, you are playing a west coast team and its early April so stop stressing. Did you expect 10,000 walk-up ticket buyers just because they were 4-1 and the Mariners were in town. Ichiro is no longer a road draw side show like he used to be and besides him the Mariners are star-lite.

Build a team and the fans will come. Baltimore has put us through this before and many fans are probably shell shocked or like me and live an hour and a half away and can't get down there like I'd like to. Trust me, there are a lot of Oriole fans in the Philadelphia area and now that we have mlbtv, we can catch all the games.

My appologies to those fans who do live outside of the area. I would have to say that the traffic here sucks. So i would not brave it every game either. I do not expect the fans, who live in the area to come out when they get a record of 4-1. I expect the fans to come out when they are 1-4. Again the redsox nation are at the game even when the sox are in last place. I would also submit that Ichiro is the draw he always has been. He is a great ball player and I must admit I love watching him play. The O's may end up in last place, but like Huff said "no one expects much from us so we are just having fun" Welcome to what baseball is all about, FUN. Have a good one,
