Underrated: Antoine Cason, Arizona
Four-year starter. Three-time All Pac-10 honoree. Fifteen career interceptions, including three touchdowns. And a signature, nationally televised performance last season against then second-ranked Oregon in which he scored on both a 42-yard interception return and a 56-yard punt return. I'm not sure you could ask for a more solid, consistent four-year career by a major-conference cornerback (Aqib Talib turned pro early), yet he's only considered a second-rounder, well behind a guy from Troy (Leodis McKelvin) and a guy from Tennessee State (Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie). What more did the guy need to do?
How in the world is this guy projected to go in the 2nd round? He really strikes me as a player the Giants would be VERY wise to draft if he falls to them to the 31st pick (which seems like a 85-90% chance at this point). The only 2 corners I see who has more potential than him are Leodis and DRC, but Cason arguably is the most steady & consistent CB prospect of the three.
You can get safeties anywhere from the 2nd - 7th round (Look at Michael Johnson last year). Same thing with LBs, you can usually get impact LBs later in the draft. But for the BEST corners - you usually have to choose them early and wisely - if the Giants pass on Cason they won't get another chance in the 2nd round.
Ross, Webster, Cason - Doesn't that make you salivate? You can always move the slower Webster to safety, this sounds a lot better than bringing in Kenny Phillips from U of Miami.

NY Knicks:
Thank God Isaiah is finally fired as head coach. Hopefully the Knicks can get the 2nd pick in the draft if they get really lucky or if the conspiracy theory does come true. Whatever it takes, do it Stern, you KNOW you need a good NY basketball team! lol j/k, but seriously if the Knicks get Rose that would be the highlight of the past 10 Knick years.

Damn he went to the chargers instead at 27. I wish him the best of luck!
