In response to:
Was Benson's boat targeted?

Who cares? Why is everyone feeling sorry for these "professional" Haha Athletes, big over paid babies with no "real" contributions to this world except spending their million dollar contract. If he is not guilty then why resist arrest? Why every time a black athlete finds himself in trouble it becomes an issue of targeting or profiling. Two years ago Eric Steinbach (Ex Bengal) was arrested for Boating DUI (a white guy) he did not cry targeting or profiling? But in Bensons defense, the media has more fun bring down athletes than helping them overcome. If Benson were A REAL PRO  he would not have been even implicated cause he wouldn't have put himself into this situation! BOO FRICKN HOO!!!  maybe he was targeted maybe he was not  he still should not even be in that situation if he is a real pro athlete!!

Whoa, settle down there sport! sounds like you have some anger & jealousy issues over the money these guys make.also what does color have to do with anything? I do understand your frustration. There is always going to be athletes who are in it for the money.athletes do get paid big-time,before they even earn it.but that is how it is in sports. I am a regular poor white male.I have been abused 2 times by the police.so this does happen, regardless of what color you are.or how much money you make.there are good people in the world & there are bad people in the world.it is a personal choice for most of us everyday, whether we choose to do right or wrong.it doesnt matter if you are the president or a dishwasher or what color or race you are..I agree & feel your disappointment in benson.I am also frustrated with how benson has not earned his money,or produced like a #4 pick! to be honest, this boating incident means nothing to me.I am concerned about his play, not the party! he say's he is in the best shape of his career, which angelo confirmed.maybe, but he still has to perform in games.if he comes in in great shape & can play really good to finally help the team.then great,he can back up matt forte,to give us a strong 1-2 punch at R.B. then change of pace garrett wolfe as the #3 back.then adrian peterson can move back to special teams full time, where he excels! we will see how it shakes out.if benson comes in out of shape,or with a bad attitude, then the bears should release him before opening day! the problem with alot of the bust's out of college is.these guy's get way too much money, before they play & earn it.alot of these guy's are set for life, before they even perform, play or earn it.so regardless of color alot of guy's take the money & run.they should pay these guy's as they earn it,not before they play! there is little incentive to play hard, when they get paid first! he was having fun with some friends, parked on the water in his boat.i dont know that is putting yourself in a bad situation! I dont expect hi profile individuals to just stay inside their homes,to avoid being targeted as doing wrong! thanks.GOD BLESS! GO BEARS!!
