For the time from now until the 2008 season kicks off, i will TRY to make a preview for every team starting with the worst and making my way eventually to the Super Bowl champ Giants.
MIAMI DOLPHINS OFFENSE-C DEFENSE-D- MANAGE/COACH- C-
John Beck will have better protection this year, since the Dolphins used their 1st pick to take Michigan OT Jake Long. The o-line couldn't protect him last year in his first season and this year, coming into 2008 knowing he's the guy, protection will be vital. Also, they need to get blocking for Ronnie Brown who has great potential, but a bad team. Before he went down last season, he was burning defenses with a quiet year. Healthy, the Fins won't need to woirry about Ricky Williams. Their recievers core is young and thin. Their best guy being Ted Ginn or Marty Booker, they will struggle to score. And their defense will struggle holding other teams from scoring.
Thier defense was once scary good, now its just bad and old. Jason Taylor was used as trade bait, but he's still in Miami and he's still great. Taylor had 11 sacks, leading the team. Vonnie Holliday is a solid starter at DT, and Jason Allen looks like a star in the making at safety. Channing Crowder led the team with 78 tackles and Joey Porter looks to improbve on his first down year in a while.
The coaching is new. They fired Cam Cameron and brought in Tony Sparano, defensive coordinator in Dallas, to sort the mess. the only reason they got a C- here was two words- Big Tuna.
FINAL RECORD AND FINISH- 5-11(4TH PLACE)

Report Offensive CommentActually, Sporano was not the defensive coordinator in Dallas. He was offensive line/assistant head coach who worked along side Jason Garrett on offense.
Not a great start to your season preview.
