ST.LOUIS RAMS OFFENSE- B DEFENSE- C- MANGE/COACH- C
The Rams were terrible last year due to injuries and underachieving offensively. Their defense is just not good. They don't have a good secondary and their linebackers are average at best. Their pass rush should be good this year with Carriker, Little, and probably Chris Long. But still, defensively, they ranked 31st in the league by giving up 27.4 points a game, and that secondary ranked 21st by giving up 341.1 passing yards a game. Also, for consistent sucess, the Rams need to cut down on turning the ball over, -10 last season. Taking the ball away from the talented offense to the bad defense isn't a good idea.
The offense is, like I said, talented. But they ranked 28th in the NFL last year with just 16.4 PPG. Marc Bulger and Steven Jackson should have bounce back years after uncharacteristic 2007's. The Rams still have an all right reciever corp led by All-Pro Torry Holt, who led the team with 93 receptions and 1189 yards with 7 TDs. SJ will need more TDs (5 in '07) and a much better YDS per run avg, 4.2 is not SJ-like, 5.2 is. 1002 yards is also not SJ-like.
