     Seeing as though I haven't written on this site in 2 weeks, tonight is as good a time as any to pick up and write.

     Especially, now that the Nats are back to winning. 5-2 tonight, against the Mets.

     Now the vast majority of you look at the Nats, and see a last-place team in the NL East. Me, I don't care. What I see is, we're only 7 games under .500 after tonight (and a day game tomorrow with the Metropolitans). At least we're not the worst in the National League, nor in all of baseball.

     I'm trying to imagine Cheezhead pulling his hair out, after seeing Aaron Heilman give away the game in the 7th. Just listening to the crowd @ Shea let Heilman have it, before he even takes the mound, was enough to make me LMAO.

     (In fairness to Cheezhead, I had the same feeling last night watching Luis Ayala give away that game. Maddening, isn't it??)

     And to think, Jesus Flores once upon a time was in the Mets' farm system...gee, whatever became of him?? LMAO

     OK, that's enough gloating for one night...
