Ok, let's hope that today goes better than yesterday & I don't lose all my work right before the end...
Jay Bruce:
What a night last night! I've been telling you all to get him...if you didn't shame on you. Yahoo alone had 64,205 pickups yesterday. He was Baseball Americas #1 prospect going into this season & he was backing it up with his minor league numbers. He's the kind of talent that doesn't come along every season, and if you picked him up in a keeper league, all the better.
Kevin Slowey:
Got his first win in his last start (@ Det 6IP 0R 4H 3BB 2K). He's going up against Kansas City tomorrow. If he's available in your league, he's worth atleast a spot start here.
Starters in tomorrows Toronto @ Oakland game:
You've got Jesse Litsch and Dana Eveland. This could turn into a game like last night, low scoring, which means either starter will get you good numbers. If either of them are available, pick 'em up.
Kevin Kouzmanoff:
He is absolutley crushing the ball right now. His last 3 games: 6-for-14, 3 HR, 3 RBI, 6 Runs scored. His average, which is usually his drawback, is now up to .280. If he's going to hit for any sort of average, he's worth picking up if you need the CI help.
Matt Garza:
It's too late to pick him up for todays start, but still keep an eye on this start. He's been pitching well all season long, and he's going up against a White Sox team that is 27th in the majors with batting average.
Stay away from:
Lyle Overbay:
Over the weekend he broke the Blue Jays record for consecutive atbats where he reached base(12). Since then he's gone 1-for-10, 0 BB. He's been inconsistant at the plate since his injury last year. If you need help at the 1B/CI position, keep on looking.
Jeff Francis:
Gets the start against the Cubs tomorrow. Don't bother, the turnaound won't start here.
Time to get going, have a great day of Fantasy Baseball!
