Letter to the Mods

I have always enjoyed my time on Fannation- I dare say I spend more time on this site than anyone else 4 days out of the week- for the simple reason- I am on at work.

I understand the recent change has been a bit hard on most- and I'm sure behind the scenes they are doing thier best. And to be honest on a FREE site ( a fact some members fail to keep in mind ) I can live with almost everything.

Except this.

The past few weeks I have had TWO groups Vanish

My Demo group- not that big a Deal- it was a new group and easily fixed by another name - I mailed the Mods- and got an answer 2 days later stating that they did not know why- and could not fix the problem since they didn;t know what happened.

Then I had a TD with Dennis die- I was up 24-23 and there were only a few hours left- and thus far no flame war or off topic conversations that plaugue some TDs - I mailed the Mods- and never heard a word

last week this group fanished

The OCTOGON- The Largest and most active MMA group on this site- right in the middle of a contest for the TUF

But then again The Mods did not respond- AGAIN- to REPEATED Fanmails.

I understand they may be overworked- and I know they are busy writing jokes for the 10 spot or something.

I have 2 major issues here.

1) I'm not a newbie here- I would like to think I'm fairly well known on this site - but I bet I have not sent 10 mails to the mods in a YEAR- all for legit issues. If I send mail to the mods, I think I deserve a timely answer- I am not saying I should take priority- But when my name is on THIER inbox- I don;t think I get a reaction like "Oh no he;s mailing AGAIN? What Now!"

2) Things happen- and groups die- but this group is VERY active for a nitch sport right now- and growing- and it seems like we lost everything- and Head Kick for one has put up some AWESOME reports- and now they seem to be gone.

I'm not trying to bag on the Mods- and I know they work hard-

But here is the thing- so do we.

Dude..that sucks that all of that got deleted. I was in that DEMO group...and now since it got deleted it still is in my groups thing and it says I'm a part of it...but I can't be a part of a deleted group.

The Moderators need to get back promptly.

I had someone send a letter on my behalf behind who banned me from the FN Community group last week. Still waiting for a response but my email has some cobwebs there that werent there before.

Sorry about your groups being deleted, thats a real drag. How canthe mods not know what happened, I don't any outside a group could delete it could they? Hope you get an answer soon.

I've had a TD vanish for no reason as well and received no response to my fanmail about it. Something is obviosuly awry, and I sicerely hope it doesn't hit any of the big groups or well-known blogs.

Losing a TD is bad enough.
