It is the last day in June and tomorrow begins July and of course what is more perfect than to end June with some stories that have made us sick, laugh or curse writers? I mean really what could be better? Well, what could be better is that bloggers come up with more stuff for us to look at even though we hate them, go figure. So we begin today with Randy Moss and his life after football.
Randy Moss has finally found his life after football ... Owning a NASCAR team. Moss has decided to invest money in his new found hobby now I'm all for doing what you want to do after retirement but now Moss is just showing off. I mean seriously who isn't jealous of Boston these days?
They have all the titles from each team (excluding the Bruins) ... (but you have to admit they act like babies, if a guy from the Celtics misses a shot they lose their minds they should be happy that their teams have the titles, recent titles while others have been waiting, so next time Rajon Rondo misses a shot be happy for what you got) ... Anyway back to the point, Randy it is nice that you found a hobby, now just make sure the team wins so you can have your very own mini-Patriots team.
Oh and I almost forgot, Richard Jefferson is going boo-hoo because he got traded to Milwaukee. Now this is the part where I get pissed off. He is getting paid millions to play a child's game while the rest of us have to go out and find a job that requires you to use your mind and some even stuggle to put food on the table.
I'd be gratful for what I'd already have, I wouldn't care if I was traded to the worst team on Earth, I would just be gratful for what I got. So Richard the next time you decide to open your mouth, think before you speak because your unhappiness can turn against you.
It appears that MLB wants to take the crime spotlight from the NFL ... Red Sox players have recieved threats namly towards black and latin players according to T&R. Now, look I know we may be jealous because of the amount of titles they have got but, this is going too far. There is already enough violence in sports alone this is getting to be too much.
And the big questions is can Jay-Z lead LeBron to the Nets? Well, first let me give an answer ........ possible but, likely not really. The reason being is because even though LeBron has yet to win a ring he has bought the Cavs close and he seems to be perfectly fine where he is however if he went to the Nets it would be like starting over trying to get them back on track again.
And the fact that LeBron is a big boy and can make his own descisions, it should be his choice and not by influence from his friend. I mean I know that an athletes IQ drops a good percentage when they become big stars but, I think LeBron has his head on tight pretty good. I mean I know they can act like children at times but, I do believe LeBron is a big boy and can do things for himself now, let's not put any pressure on him.
Good news sport fans who aren't from Massachusetts!!! I found a area in which Boston fans can't boast in: Crime. And appearently it is becoming more abundant in that area this days. Patriots defensive back Willie Andrews wasn't only busted for assault with a dangerous weapon. The Boston Herald reports, he also was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. And to think we thought they could brag about anything.
And what about Cedric Benson? The once thought to be future RB of the Bears now in the FA list of Madden 09' needs to find a new home. Rumor has it that, that the Texans might take a shot at him. Well, to anyone who wants to take a shot at him all I can say is good luck. Although Adam Jones seemed to be on the path back to a good little player, so there is hope for Cedric yet. There is a good chance Benson's career is over if he can't find a home soon, so he better hope that someone is willing to take on trouble because is not, he can probably kiss his short career goodbye.
And I would like to make a special note about Curt Schillling who recently had surgery to repair a tendon in his pitching arm, that could potentially end his career. Curt has been trough a lot and I know he was a good pitcher (this is coming from a NY fan mind you) but, if his career is over next comes a big question ... Is he a HOFer? Well, I won't say but, you can debate about it all you like.
Uh-oh..... The "Idiot Kicker" a.k.a. Mike Vanderjagt is back in the news and he is sucking... in the CFL - as a kicker and punter this time - In his first game he missed his first three FG's. He was wide left on two of his kicks and wide right on the other. But he was able to get two FG's later on and he also did good punting, maybe he should have signed up to do that instead then he might still be in the NFL or could be known as the "Idiot Punter."
And to add to the whole Boston kick I seem to be going on in this blog, Jim Rome decided to give Wes Welker a slap to the face after Welker made some intersting comments about former Patriot and teammate Asante Samuel. It is always the quiet ones....
Kerry Wood has appearently found a new way to express himself this past Saturday during a game against the Chicago White Sox and it gave writers something to talk about for a minute.
Oh and someone came to the conclusion that we can't go a week without an NFL player getting arrested... I think we all know that but, hey you got to say what you got to say right?

Actually with the Cleveland Cav's head office a mess. LeBron may as well go to the Nets. He will be starting over every year or so in Cleveland for a while to ocme. I love the Cav's but enough is enough with the stupid draft choices and the lame excuses for poor management and no effort to create a winner.
