As you can likely see to you right as you read this, Seattle and the owners of the Sonics came to a agreement to end their lease and allow the Sonics to play in Oklahoma for the 08-09 season, ending 41 years of history in Seattle.

Seattle had one of the most loyal fanbases in the NBA and the Key Arena when it opened in 95, was labeled as state of the art by David Stern, and now it was rund-down according to him. Hey Stern, should we move your Knicks out of New York because MSG is the oldest stadium in the league?

I am extremely annoyed with the Northwest relocations of NBA teams this decade, Vancouver is gone after having a loyal fanbase that stopped going after being screwed more than Jenna Jameson, and now Seattle, which had many glorious years in Seattle an was the loudest stadium in the NBA during the 90s. It seems that David Stern will move any team south if that is what the owners want.

Stern you always talk about the attendance numbers and revenue numbers, here is an equation for you.

41 years+Clay&Stern=0

0 equals the history of Oklahoma City and basketball, besides the brief New Orleans stint after Hurricane Katrina, Oklahoma has never supported a basketball team. Oklahoma is a football state and always will be.

Is this a favour to Oklahoma for hosting the Hornets? David Stern really should leave the "favours" to the Knicks interns.

We need to start asking some serious questions to the NBA. The Doaghy scandal and the accusations of fixed series', teams being relocated for almost no reason, the debacle and mess that is the NBA Draft, do we really want this guy to be the commishoner? He is slipping big time from one of the best Commishoners in sports to Gary Bettman.

I will leave you with some stats and records from the Sonics stay in Seattle
