When hasn't Chris Baker been in the news lately? He is making headlines again and scout.com is reporting that he will not fit the Jets core players this season. Why you may ask? Well, appearently Baker appearently has too much of a Pete Kendall-like player in himself ... to find out more check it out here.

I'm still confused as to why the Jets just won't give Baker what he wants as I was during the Pete Kendall Trials. Everyone, no every fan knows that money shuts a player up as long as the price is right these days. Now we all know it is stupid to give players money for a child's game but, still if it shuts them up then happy days!!! I can see a few outcomes of this situation ... a. They give Baker what he wants (which seems more and more unlikly everyday), b. they release or trade him (trade more likely) or c. they put him on a reserve list somewhere and we get to keep hearing his rants. Personally a or b is sounding pretty good right now. Give me a list of the teams who need a tight end or get the money he wants just to keep him content with his life.
