Yes, Euro 2008 is over and Spain were the champs, but that means nothing no in terms of the world cup. Spain, and 52 other European teams, will start in August. There are 9 groups and 13 qualification spots. If you win your group, your in! The runner ups of each of the groups will be paired in 2s. Whoever wins the 4 series will get the remaining spots. I believe that Italy might get and automatic spot for winning the world cup, but Im not positive.
Here are our Groups:
Group 1: Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Hungary, Albania, Malta
Group 2: Greece, Switzerland, Israel, Moldova, Luxembourg, Latvia
Group 3: Poland, Czech Republic, Northern Ireland, Slovakia, San Marino, Slovenia
Group 4: Germany, Russia, Finland, Wales, Azerbaijan, Liechtenstein
Group 5: Spain, Turkey, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Estonia, Armenia
Group 6: England, Ukraine, Croatia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Andorra
Group 7: Romania, France, Serbia, Austria, Lithuania, Faroe Islands
Group 8: Italy, Ireland, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Montenegro
Group 9: Netherlands, Scotland, Norway, Macedonia, Iceland
What do you think of the groups? England has Ukraine and Croatia in their group. Will they fail to qualify for the World Cup too? Spain and Germany, the top 2 teams of Euro 2008 have to fend off Turkey and Russia, respectively, the runners up of the tournament. Will Scotland, Ireland, Israel, Greece, Austria, Romania or Belgium, finally find their way into the World Cup?

England will be in WC 2010. You heard it from me first. Capello will right the ship and some young members of the Three Lions will step up and make it happen.

If England do make it, will Beckham be there?
I think so, he's been dynamic for England in his past matches since joining the Galaxy
