Jets sign Lowery and Ainge
Unlike Chris Baker, the Jets have signed CB, Dwight Lowery and QB, Erik Ainge. Lowery recieved a multiyear deal from the team, although not having a great senior season after he broke his jaw, Lowery is a player who has a sense for the ball which is mirrored by his high INT totals from college. He will no doubt be tested espcially at one of the most positions a rookie could be tested at however with his speed and nose for the ball no doubt Lowery will be a great addition to the defensive side and if he can play a rookie season like Revis did we know we have a potential player on our hands.

And of course we can't forget QB, Erik Ainge whom the Jets signed to a four year deal with a $165,000 signing bonus according to Rich Cimini. You might be interested to know that Ainge was taught by the same coach -- Dave Cutcliffe -- who taught both the Manning Brothers, not a bad resume to have when your coming to a team who needs help desperatly at QB. Only Gholston and Keller have yet to be signed and their signings are expected to be done soon.

As a Tennessee fan I like Ainge but he has a tendency every now and then to make a play that will make you want to slap yourself on the forehead.
