Baker = On PUP = Unhappy Fan + One huge Mess / Moves from NY
This Chris Baker fiasco has taken to a whole new level. The Jets put TE, Chris Baker on the physically unable to perform list today and wheather that has to do with his dispute or because of an injury remains unclear however if it does have something to do with the contarct, the Jets have screwed this so far into the ground they have past the point of no return and have made it to the center of the Earth. I'm sure more on this will be popping up soon but, for now it could be speculation galore.
In addition the Jets placed Jason Trusnik on the PUP list as well and Clint Oldenberg has been put onto the active/non-football injury list.
Jets sign Kyle DeVan
New York recently signed center Kyle DeVan who was from Oregon State. Kyle, a Pac-10 honorable mention two times and was a Rimington Watch List player, starting 38 straight games for Oregon State and appeared in 50 games overall. I imagine this is either a back up to Nick Mangold (after the ex-Center for the Jets Adrian Clarke left for the Chiefs) or he is here until New York can find a better back up, who knows with them, even though they upgraded the roster they are just digging holes for themselves elsewhere.
2008 Jetsies / TJB Hall of Fame
Alright TJB has been steadily rolling out the winners and today we have two new players one for the Hall of Fame and the other for a Jetsie Award; The Hall of Famer is none other than......... Curtis Martin. And the Best Veteran Aquision goes to.... Thomas Jones.
