I live in Milwaukee and have been a fan of the Brewers (behind the Cardinals) since I moved here. But this last sweep by the Brewers soured my taste a little. Not so much because we lost, but from the behavior of the Brewers hitters. Most notably, Bill Hall and Ryan Braun.
I understand being excited when you hit a home run in the 9th inning. Please, go crazy in the dugout. But the posing that Braun and Hall did was very weak and disrespectful. Act like you've been there before boys. Instead, they act like a couple of punks who have never won before.
I hope the next time they come to town, Larussa orders up some retaliation. In this case it is justified.
One a similar, but different, note. We need a closer now! Make the trade for Fuentes. If you weren't sure we needed it before Moz, you should know it now. Our lack of a closer cost us 4 games to a division rival.

I agree with you, 82, I also thought that Weeks was posing at the plate when he hit the HR off of PIniero. I love the .220 hitter posing like he's Babe Ruth......give me a break.
I agree on the closer.....if you've read the stuff I write on STL Diehards, I think there is no way we stay in the race with the current bullpen. Fuentes is the guy we need, but I don't want to give up many prospects to get him, since he is a FA after the season.
