Seeing how this is volume 14, hopefully everyone knows what we're trying to do with these blogs by now. Thank you to everyone that has viewed and commented on these blogs.
Here are the previous 13 volumes: rstowe, porkins, NCshvDavid, Goodell, T-fo, Duquesne, Jimmer, Hiya, BSchwartz, The Ram, Ghosthunter, Bigalke and 0x.
This volume will be all about the Manrash himself....Danbash.
What made you want to join NMI?
I'm willing to join or apply for just about any group where there are
people have the same ideals as me about certain things, in this case the
loathing of idiots.
What do you like best about FN?
If you asked me this 5 months ago, I'd probably have said throwdowns,
because I love debating. But now, I think all the chatting and threads
are great.

What do you like least about FN?
I bet the common answer is the idiots, which I don't like at all, but
what I really despise are the users who may not be stupid, but they are
arrogant and self-righteous.

Any members of Fannation help get you where you are today?
To be honest, not really. When I joined, the site was still in its
infancy, so to speak, so a lot of people who joined earlier were
learning as we went. No one really took an interest in me until after
I pretty much had the hang of the whole FN thing.
What drew you to join FanNation?
I had just underwent surgery to remove a tumor from my chin, and was
bored on the computer. I'm not really sure how, due to being doped up
on percosets and vicodin, but I created a profile under the name of "Dan
Bash Dan"

What do you (plan to) do for a living?
I've always liked writing, but I'm not sure I'm good enough to make it
in an industry that is filled with uncertainty. I'll probably end up
doing something marketing-related.

If you could go to one sporting event before you die, what would that be
and why?
Definitely the Final Four. I love college basketball, and there isn't a
better venue for this sport than the Final Four.

When did you first become a sports fan and what drew you in?
When I was young, I was a big frontrunner type of sports fan. I loved
MJ, Jeter, and Brett Favre, but when I got older and really learned
about my New Jersey/Queens roots, my allegiances changed.
What was/is your favorite subject in school and why?
I like English and writing, but my favorite is History.

Who is your greatest sports idol?
Since my true idol, Greg Oden, hasn't really done anything of note yet,
I'd probably say Jim Brown or Jim Boeheim.

Who is your greatest non-sports idol?
I can't say I have a specific one. I admire a lot of people.
What was the first live sporting event you attended?
Nothing exciting or particularly memorable. Just the time David Wells
threw a perfect game.

What is your fondest sports memory?
For ones that I was actually at, definitely the one listed above, but
overall, seeing the Giants win the Super Bowl was pretty nice.

What do you do in your free time away from FanNation?
Recreational drugs, such as marijuana and various mushrooms. Oh...
uhh.. never mind. I love playing sports, listening to music, and
hanging out with friends.

What are your favorite teams and why?
Being from New York, I follow teams like the Mets, Knicks
(unfortunately), Giants, and for some reason I love Syracuse University
and the University of Arizona.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why.
I've been told my chiseled features and dazzling good looks are
insulting to some.
Favorite movie, band, food?
The Godfather, NaS, and Buffalo Wings.
And that in a nutshell is Danbash. Look forward to more Meet the NMI Members blogs in the coming weeks.

You lucky SOB...I would remove vital parts of my anatomy to watch a pitcher on my team throw a perfect game...very VERY few fans can claim that...

I would LOVE to have actually saw a perfect game, even a no-hitter would've been nice. I've seen 3 shutouts though.
