If the Sox deal Manny, which WONT happen, who is gonna hit behind Ortiz? J.D. Drew? Highley unlikely, mainly because teams don't want to spend $20 Million on a guy who talks alot, no offense to Manny, but he is more suited for the DH role. The Sox would also love to get out of the Division, as well as the AL, just like the Twins did with Santana. I think the Red Sox are gonna keep Manny until the off-season because they can't get any good players or prospects. I think Manny will unfortunattly end his 8 year marrige to the Red Sox come 2008 off-season. He is WAY more valuable in the AL because he hits well, but is isn't much of a defense guy and he can't run, all the traits of a power hitting DH. I the Red Sox should only release him if they get their primary replacement target Matt Holliday, and if they can't get him they could get Jason Bay. As for Manny, alot of teams have interest, but arn't gonna offer $20 million a season to him because his is almost 37, an age which alot of althletes retire, and all they want him to do is hit. I think the Rangers should deeply consider Manny. He would be a GREAT offensive help to an already leathal team as the Texas Rangers. All the Rangers need is another power hitter and a couple of better pitchers and they could turn out like the Tampa Bay Rays.

Guess you were wrong tool. Doesn't is get confusing rooting for so many teams in the same sports? Shotgun method, keep throwing lead in the air until you hit a winner!
