Hey FanNation members and friends,

In my profile I briefly spoke about one of the projects I am working on. It is a novella called Ten Till. I don't like to draw attention to myself or hound for publicity but I have had lots of people ask for a synopsis of the book. So here it is. Also if you go to my profile and look at my images you can see the front and back cover, the back cover containing quotes from professors who read it and their opinions of it and my writing.

A synopsis of Ten Till:

Detective Joseph Barber has spent almost a year mourning the loss of his wife, Elle. He has given up on both his life and his profession. Meanwhile a killer known as the Ten Man, haunted by memories, apparitions, and regrets of his childhood, sets out on a path fueled by vigilante justice and redemption.

Fascinated by the riddle and mystery of these killings, Barber sets out to find the Ten Man and becomes wrapped up in a series of events that bear more consequence to him than he could ever have imagined. As their stories progress the line between good and evil becomes dangerously blurred and sets them on a collision course that will change their lives and the lives of those around them forever.

So there ya go. I hope that gives you a little bit of an idea about what the novella is about. The book alternates points of view between Detective Barber and the Ten Man every chapter, which gives the reader both points of view.

If you're interested then feel free to leave a comment. My next few projects are producing a play I wrote in the Fall at my college and then trying to get a full length script I wrote produced. After that I want to write a book about sports, as well as a comedic film script about a fictional character who is the most flamboyant pitcher in the history of baseball. I haven't decided what the topic of the book will be but both should be a lot of fun.

Take care everyone and I hope all of your nights are awesome.

Lots of big words in that synopsis; "apparitions," "vigilante," "redemption..." That book must be good!

When I self-publish it I think you will be able to purchase copies online. Otherwise you can get a hold of me and buy one. Thank you everyone for the encouragement and kind words. There are some bad throwdown members on here but the good ones definitely outweigh them. That's why I am still here. So credit goes out to all of you for making this a site worth checking out.

This is an interesting book and I would suggest to have a publisher look into this book. You will also need to have a copyright just in case some Hollywood film makers would like to make a movie out of your book. The story line is interesting and will draw attention to some people that loves these type of story. I say go for it.

It does sound interesting, but why the novella length? There are some really good mystery short story collection series out there, and you know they all have a short novella in them as well.Good luck to you, it sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders..;)

Does the Ten Man go to Oz and get a new heart?

Haha, just kidding! It looks good, I like the alternating POV from chapter to chapter. That'll keep it fresh. Interesting idea, Mr. Lee. Hope it works out well for you.
