I got to attend Steeler Training camp on Monday and it was awesome! It was great to see that Ben was back into practice mode (one less injury we have to worry about). Troy was in gear but not praticing with the squad. And my boy Ward.... looked amazing! Although we don't have the SuperBowl Team we had in , we still look to have a nice starting line-up. With the proper determintation, the Steelers are sure to have a great season.
First pre-season game is this evening and I could not be more excited. Now I know the Steelers don't play preseason hard, they rarely play at all, but it will be so nice to watch them in Hienz field, I've been waiting for quite some time now. Interstate games always get me pumped... we stuffed Philly in the hockey play-offs, this football season should be no different.
The Farve trade to the Jets have everyone all emotional. Some people think that it was a stupid decision. I tend to disagree. I think that Brett was kind of pushed into retirement by the media. Yeah he is 38 years old, but the man is one of the greatest quarterbacks ever to grace the field and I am anxious to see how he does. On the other hand, what comes up, must come down and his age is a slight disadvantage. With the age also comes experience and the Packers' quarterbacks are lacking that. It should be an intresting season.
All I have left to say is..... ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!! GO Steelers!
