Throughout the summer, SIOC will be taking a look at some of the nation's top athletic schools and determining who its all-time best athletes are. Last week we looked at Michigan's top 10 and this week we're looking at Princeton, whose rich Ivy-League athletics tradition has produced an impressive list of athletes across multiple sports. Check out our list below (and our gallery) and let us know whom we underrated, whom we overrated, and whom we overlooked completely.

Redmond (Reddy) C. S. Finney, '51 was an All-American Center and a LB on the undefeated 1950 Football team and then an All-American Lacrosse player that Spring. In addition, he starred on the Wrestling team in the winter. That's gotta be worth consideration...

- Cameron Atkinson '03 - Third all-time in Princeton Rushing and probably the fastest person in school history.
- Chris Roser-Jones '02 - A dominant defensive player who led the nation in interceptions for a linebacker and is 2nd all-time in NCAA history average interception return
- CNNSiI's own Ross Tucker - A force on the offensive of line who went on to a very good pro career. Furthermore, he was an absolute monster on the intramural basketball court.

Lauren Simone '02 - Captain of the national champion lacrosse team her senior year. MVP of the NCAA national tournament and an all-american her senior year. She was all-ivy three times.
Cameron Atkinson '03 - His name needs to be submitted again. He was the fastest person in school history, period.

If so, they might have also noticed the error in fact in the bit on Cathy Corcione '74, which alleges that she helped set a WORLD RECORD in the 200 free relay. Not so. The meet cited was conducted in yards, short course, or a 25 yard pool, while at that time World Records could only be set in pools that were 50 Meters Long Course. All world records in swimming must be authorized by FINA, the world governing body of swimming. The meet cited pre-dates the NCAAs for women and even then, it was short course.
