Hey Dol Fans We got something to cheer about early (Miami 19 - JAX 14) hopefully this cheering will be more often than not. The QB position is secured and the ball is making its way into the end zone. Whew. Yes, I know its early and it's only Pre Season but c'mon, with Chad Pennington adding some stability to a much need offense I'm going into this year feeling good about our chances to surprise some people with a Wild Card berth. Come on we get Brett and the J-E-T-S first game of the year. Win number one as Favre is still learning the playbook. Then we get the Patriots, now although its no easy task here but its early and maybe a victory here could put us in the drivers seat for the AFC East. The second is a bigger leap of faith than the first but as they say, Any Given Sunday. Ricky's speed is smoking. Defense is under Parcel's watchful eye. The phrase 'Worse to First' is ahead.

I like your optimism, but it ain't gonna happen. At least not with my Pats, but I do hope they take 2 from the JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So is Noodle Arm.

You really think the Dolphins can come even close to taking the AFC East? The Jets and Bills both have a very outside chance, but the Phins chance of finishing above last place is quite low. Finishing 1st is a pipe dream.

Hold up here, let me point out a few stats to you about Favre before you go talking about him still learning the playbook. Despite only having a week to cram in everything Favre was 5-6 with 48 yards and a touchdown. P.S. Favre still has plently of time to get the offense/playbook down before the meeting with the Dolphins, so let's not run our mouths with Favre yet.

Don't get me wrong Miami is going to be much better than they were last year but the fact that Favre has more time before facing the Dolphins and the fact that he is a legend and knows what he is doing puts the Dolphins in position for a loss.

i agree on wut you are sayn but maybe a wildcard would be better than winning the afc east for this year.
