         I was just now filling out the scores of every college football game when I remembered that Notre Dame played San Diego State. That morning Lee Corso said that if Notre Dame didn't beat them by 47 points or more, they were in trouble. Lou Holtz has them picked to only lose one or two games this year(Does anyone else notice that Lou always picks teams that he formerly coached to do good?). Well, Lou better change his picks, because Notre Dame struggled Saturday against San Diego State, winning 21-13. The Fighting Irish's comeback began when a Aztecs player fumbled when he tried to reach out and score, leading them to go from losing 7-13 to win 21-13.

       I HATE NOTRE DAME. They always are given the nod over better teams just because they are Notre Dame. It's insane that they are guaranteed bowl games when they win 6 games. They should have to sweat out bowl selection Sunday like everyone else. This makes the start of their season so much better for me.

     So, you may wonder what Notre Dame's record will be this year. First off, my pick is nowhere near Lou Holtz's, but I think should make Notre Dame fans happy. I have Notre Dame beating Purdue, Stanford, Washington, Navy, and Syracuse, meaning they will finish 6-6. If you expect any more than that, I truly believe(not because of my feelings against the Irish, but just by their schedule) that you will be disappointed.

completely agree. but ooh how i hate Notre Dame. I hate them so much its even mentioned in my profile. but holtz should be looking at his own son at ECU before making flowery 1 loss season predictions for ND.
