Today redemption is spelled E-L-I. I thought Eli played a nice game and made some great throws on some roll outs. Madden made a great point regarding Eli, stating that if he gets time and has receivers getting seperation, he will make plays. Let's be fair to Eli, the O-line has not given him time to throw the past years. If the line can't protect him, get him out on the blocks and moving. Madden also pointed out the year-by-year comparison between Eli and some guy named Peyton. The edge is slighter than you think and goes to that guy named Peyton.
What have the Eagles ever won? Second place is the first loser. I thought New York fans had a big mouth but I was dead wrong. In life, the people with the biggest mouths on the block are the ones who never won anything. I wish Eagle fans would go eat a turtle soup out of whatever backwoods creek they came out and change their camoflauge pants for once. This is a valid generalization.
I have great feeling about Bradshaw. I really believe that he can be the change of pace back we need. The Giants need to use him right (they always have trouble using their players to get the max from them) or Ray Rice will be their heir apparent to Tiki. I'm just not that comfortable using Jacobs. I hope that changes, but I doubt it will.
I was sorry to see Jennings go down, he looked good and was getting good seperation. I guess Mix will be moving up on the depth chart.
The kicking situation is not as bad as I once feared.
The Ravens still have a great D, but their offense needs to play mistake free. The D-line did a great job of rebounding from last week's dismal performace. I really liked the aggressive schemes from Spagnulo last night. Now with Michael Strahan coming back, things will be looking up.
I would take the Hefty Lefty over Kyle Boller any day.
