The offense looked pretty bad moving the chains but I must say that the 1st team offense played well in the red zone. I would like to see Bradshaw get in the Mix more, b/c w/ Jacobs and Droughns, it was getting predictable what Droughns would do. Eli was his usual hit or miss. Speaking of Mix, I would like to see him get picked up as the back-up to the back-up receiver. They're are alot of guys at that position, but he stands out and has height. Liked Lorenzen even though he was behind a very shabby O-line.
That brings us to the ugly. The defense struggled in all facets. The run defense was the glaring, espcailly to Strahan's side. Kiwaunka constaly got caugth up going inside (much like an undiscilplined DE does) and the Carolina RB's just cut through them.
Carolina is a great team and I for one would LOVE to see John Fox or Bill Cowher come to NY. My friends, who are all Dallas fans, are rippping me to shreds. Will Demps played good and I love our DT's. They are the strength of our D. I have a BIG feeling that Mitchell is going to have a BIG year for us at LB.
Did I say us? Yes, I did. If your like me, you my friend live and die with the Giants. Sundays are a real battle ground.
