NASCAR needs to set rules and follow them. Although I agree with the decision to let them race to the checkered flag in the 2007 edition of the Daytona 500 NASCAR needs to mandate that as a rule at all races. Something to the effect that if a last lap crash occurs and won't effect the safety of those involved then the race will continue under green until the finish line is reached. So long as any accident is after a pre-determinded part of the track then racing for the win should be allowed. The safety point at each track should be determined at each track ahead of time, much like local rules on a golf course.
