In the world of sports their are many Robinsons: The one you would probably think of last is Eddie Robinson the deceased former Grambling football coach. This brings up the old saying last but not least and in the minds of everyone who knew him Eddie Robinson was anything but last. While your reading this your probably saying this is touching but what does this have to do with short athletes? Eddie Robinson was once quoted as saying "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. This is the reason this blog exists because you can't measure spirit. For 56 years he coached Grambling Football with integrity and inteligence. He is the alltime wins leader in college football history. More than 200 of his players went on to compete in the National Football League, including NFL Hall of Fame members Willie Davis, Willie Brown, and Buck Buchanan. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1997. Eddie Robinson Rest In Peace.

Maybe the most important athlete ever taught by Coach Rob was Tank Younger, who came to the NFL in 1949 and did as much to break the color barrier in pro football as any other man and it sent the scouts looking for more like him down in Louisiana. And Coach Rob made sure there were plenty of great ones there. Rest in peace Coach Rob.
