We can either be part of the solution or**** about the results. I believe the fans are the ultimate stake-holders of college football. Without us the system doesn't go. If we could become united on a common theme to promote change within the BCS, I believe we have the power to change the system.
My Regular season bracketed playoff for college football has a common theme. How do we change the system without the least amount of change. I believe by eliminating the bogus out of conference games in the month of September and having all 120 teams begin their season's in weeks 1-8 with conference games only, we can save the vital month of November for some thunderous match-ups in college football. I believe whole-heartedly this can be done while maintaining the importance of the regular season, keeping the season length at 12-13 games and saving the traditions of the bowl platform. And this is set up in a manner in which it wouldn't eliminate the traditional rivalries or become a logistics nightmare. Ask me how if you want to join and lets promote the heck out of the best BCS concept that college football fans have been yearning for years. An idea virus can be a dangerous but very effective tool in initiating change. I am a passionate fan of college football who believe the players, coaches and fans deserve better than what is currently being provided within the BCS! Help me change it!
Be a part of the Solution.

The fans are most certainly not the ultimate stake-holders in college football. It's about the alumni and corporate sponsors. Unless your plan appeases them first and foremost, you're going backwards.

Absolutely, Steelercooz...there's this perception that "The fans want it, therefore we should have it!" that will never work.

Eliminating conference games at the end of the season sounded intrigueing at first, but then I thought about what I love most about college football; tradition. College football season wouldn't be the same if Alabama and Auburn faced off in October. Same with Ohio State and Michigan. I am still in favor of some form of a playoff system honestly. It can be done, the big schools just don't want to do it.

This system upholds the traditions of college football. It doesn't eliminate any conference games, essentially it allows for every conference to determine a true conference champion and head-to-head competition in the final two weeks of the season to set up the bowl games. Hence, how do you change the system without causing the most change. Read the 6-part series at www.bcsbusters.wordpress.com/ and see for yourself.
All 120 teams qualify for one of four brackets in the vital month of November. It will work and it brings order to a complicated and chaotic regular season with a very minor tweak.
