Senior left tackle Phil Trautwein is out indefinitely with a stress fracture in his right foot, UF coaches announced Wednesday. Trautwein is the anchor of an experienced Gators offensive line and was named first-team preseason All-SEC. Click here for details from the St. Petersburg Times.

With Trautwein definitely out for Saturday's game vs. Western Kentucky, the OL has been shuffled a bit, Coach Urban Meyer said. Jason Watkins will move from right tackle to left tackle. Carlton Meddler will move from right guard to right tackle, and true freshman Maurkice Pouncey will start at right guard.

Should Trautwein's injury prove season-ending, he may be eligible for a medical redshirt. Undoubtedly UF would prefer to have the senior on the field this year, as the Gators' roster is already overloaded with underclassmen.
