Western Kentucky was having a hard time stopping the Gators offense Saturday, but Mother Nature obliged to give the Hilltoppers an early reprieve, as Florida posted a 49-3 opening-week win. The game was terminated in the fourth quarter due to lightning.

Tim Tebow threw three touchdown passes and ran for another in his first start at quarterback, while the young Gator defense proved more than up to the task Saturday. The Hilltoppers moved the ball well on its opening drive, but the Gator defense held them in check the rest of the day.
