Not much to say about this one as the Patriots played their second team throughout the first half. This is why it took me so long to write this blog. (And playing golf). Manning and Shockey took that time to work on their chemistry which did look good. Jacobs had trouble pounding in the ball from goalline yardage and finally succeeded on his third try.
The defense had some problems in the secondary(what else is new?) but this was alarming b/c it was against New England's second team.
Marecellus Rivers was all over the place. Guy Whimper didn't look so good and neither did the second string anything for the Giants.
I'm happy that Wright stayed and Hasselback is gone.
I was sad to see Demps released and Ryan Grant to get traded to the Packers. Perhaps the wrong kicker was cut? Good pick-ups for the Giants on the O-line and secondary. Let's go get a kicker!
Next blog I write (after Strahan) will be about Sunday's opener at Dallas where hopefully, HOPEFULLY the Giants will shock the world
