Byron Leftwich is unemployed and shouldnt be. While he is hardly a great QB; he is an adequate stop gap or super sub backup QB. Here is a list of his top destination's.

1. Atlanta.....Not as a starter but a backup to Harrington, Chris Redman hasnt played in 2 years but Petrino brought him in when he took Falcons job.....

2. Kansas City....Come on,  Huard is a backup and Croyle is years away....If I was a Chiefs fan I would be upset because LJ isnt gonna have another great year; they lost Will Shields and nother O-lineman in the off-season....Chiefs are simply looking towards 08....

3. Minnesota....Sign Leftwich and keep Jackson as your 3rd QB as Holcomb and Leftwich battle it out.....Vikings have a very good Line and a great D.....They cant afford to wait 2-3 years for Jackson.....

4. Miami.....Green is gonna get hurt and Beck is years away.....

5. NY Giants....You cant rely on Eli to save your kob if you are Coughlin and Leftwich would be a solid Plan B.....

Let's poke some holes in your theory...
5. NY Giants Coughlin likes mobility on his QB's that's why he benched Beurlain for Brunell in Jacksonville... that's why he drafted Garrard as Brunell sucessor... he is not going to get Leftwich... he leaves...??? I don't think Leftwhich will sign with the Giants. Not until Eli leaves and the press will torture him for his lack of mobility.
4. Miami.... BL liked there a lot... he can outplay Green... but I am not sure of the offensive line.
3. Minnesota... could be, could be.
2. KC... They have no offensive line... he will get murder... but there is a starting QB job still open, so.... his agent will jump on it!
1. Atlanta... they will have to redo the offensive line to hold a large pocket without holes vice pocket with so ron mexico could escape.

My take???? Baltimore or Chicago.... if they like what they see... he will be sign to multiyear deal for next year if they don't... they don't.

How mobile is Eli??? LOL....

Ok, I'll do the same thing as Hecman........

1. Atlanta: A very likely possibleity even as a starter. That will be his best option. They need a pocket passer which they haven't had in years.

2. KC: A place where even though he won't get very many snaps, if Huard or Crolye gets hurt playing time is coming his way.

3. Minnesota: They have to many QB's to sign Leftwich. I just don't see Leftwich. Also, I have a problem with what you said about Tavaris Jackson. I see him battling out Leftwich for the QB job. They need a QB that can move around because they don't have WRs.

4. Miami: NO, JUST NO!

5. The Giants need a reliable backup and Leftwich is their man. I even see Leftwich stepping in if Eli has a horrible start to the season.

Other possiblities: Bears, Bucs, Baltimore, Lions, Packer, Bills, Redskins, and the Browns

Denis......

Leftwich is a better option than Huard or Croyle.....Huard is a career backup and Croyle might be the future but the FUTURE is now......They have a weak OL and need a guy that can throw to what few WR's they have.....

ATL is obvious choice......

In Minnesota, they wld cut Bollinger (TERRIBLE) and put Jackson at 3rd string and Holcomb wld back up Leftwich.....They need to try and win NOW because their D is excellent and they have a potent 1-2 running game.....Jackson wld endure major growing pains......With Jackson as a starter they are looking at competing with Falcons for worst team in NFL.....With Leftwich they cld go 8-8 and compete for a wild card......

Green sucks and Leftwich is younger and just a better option behind that terrible D......Green cld get REALLY hurt

Threw out Giants as a wild card, dont even know who their backup is.....Anthony Wright????
