The first half was perfection. The second half? Frustration. The end result was a 59-31 win over Troy that gives Florida a big win, but plenty to work on with Tennessee coming to town next week.

The Gators (2-0) scored a touchdown on every first half possession as they took a 49-7 halftime lead. But the Trojans (0-2) rebounded in the second half, moving the ball easily on the Gators defense and shutting UF out in the third quarter. Two late UF scores gave the Gators a comfortable margin of victory despite the second-half troubles.

QB Tim Tebow was 18 of 25 passing for 236 yards and 3 TDs. He also led UF in rushing, with 83 yards and two TDs on the ground.
