1. Louisville is not a top 10 team after beating MIDDLE TENNESSEE (????), 58-42.....

2. The SEC experienced their share of upsets with South Florida beating Auburn and South Carolina knocking off Georgia....

3. Michigan starts 0-2 for 1st time 1957???? They are on their way to a 6-6 season and next week's game against Notre Dame is looking like a yawn fest. Hoever the Irish at least lost to 2 I-A teams and Penn State is ranked=ND wins over Michigan, 20-13. The Wolverines start 0-3 and possibly without Henne and Hart......Things are looking way bad.

4. For those that dont know Fresno State is a scrappy team from the WAC. Pat Hill has scheduled tough BCS teams to make his teams better. While they are 10-20 against ranked BCS teams that is quite an accomplishment for a small school in central valley California where agriculture is main way of life. The Bulldogs are no push over as the Texas A & M Aggies can attest after needing 3 OT's to pull out an exciting win.

5. LSU had an impressive win over Virginia Tech but the Hokies dont really have much in way of offense. But the way the Tigers decimated a good VT defense was impressive.

6. Boise State and TCU both lost their chance's at a pulling a Cindarella this year with losses to Washington and Texas. Ty Willingham has Huskies 2-0 and is slowly rebuilding U of W program.

1. LSU.....Impressive win bumps USC out

2. USC.....Sorry Trojans

3. Oklahoma.....Looking very good early

4. Florida......Need D to step up

5. West Virginia....Not impressed by this team, dont think they have the D to be a national contender

6. Wisconsin.....Badgers will win the Big 10

7. Texas.....D looks good but offense is a question with McCoy being inconsistent

8. California.....They barely beat the Rams but other teams lost so they break the top 10

9. Penn State.....D is good enough to challenge the Badgers

10. Ohio State.....Not impressed at all, AKRON????

11. UCLA.....The Bruins have a beast in Bruce Davis and 2 solid RB's, Olson needs to be more consistent

12. Nebraska.....Sam Keller cld be perfect for Callahan and his offense, needs to shake off rust

13. Louisville....Not impressive over Middle Tennessee

14. Virginia Tech....Brutal loss

15. Georgia.....Another tough loss before they hit the really tough part of their schedule

16. Oregon.....Looked solid in Big House and they might be a player in Pac 10

17. Rutgers.....Big East is a JV conference

18. South Carolina.....Nice win over Georgia for Spurrier

19. Arkansas.....Razorbacks have a great RB but play in brutal SEC

20 Boston College.....Solid team
