Darren McFadden i believe is the best player in college football.Will he win the heisman is yet to be seen.There is one thing i dont agree with and that the heisman is not based solely on individual achievements.It does say the heisman is the best player in college for that year.It should not matter what there teams record is or what they are ranked at the end of the year.Darren McFadden is the best player in football this year but I think they might cut him short because the Razorbacks probably wont have the same kind of year this year as they did last year.Dont get me wrong I will keep telling myself they will have a great year but i just dont think they have the defense or a great passing game to go along with the rushing attack.A guy like John David Booty will probably have a better shot and its not because he is a better football player,its because the team he is on will have a better overall season.I do not believe Booty is a better player than McFadden but in the end he will probably have a better shot and that is a load of crap.Just look at the game he had against Alabama,almost 200 yds. rushing and that is with the other team knowing that they are going to give the ball to him.Passing game was not working,Felix Jones was getting stuffed in his tracks so who else are they going to give the ball to,DMAC.They knew exactly what the hogs were going to do but yet they still could not stop him.That alone shows what kind of player he is.Now wether he can keep it up and can stay healthy is yet to be seen.I hope that if he keeps having performances like that and he can keep it up the rest of the year that the voters look at that and not look at the teams overall accomplishments.The Heisman is not the best overall team in college football it is the best overall player in college football.Don't get me wrong I am not trying to put the Razorbacks team down.I have lived in Arkansas my whole life and i am a die hard hogs fan and i always will be.I am just saying that i believe McFadden is the best player in the game.Others might diagree with me and thats fine but what can I say,I am a HOGS fan.
