Only two weeks after our first edition of SEC Hot Seat, it's time to update the list.  A few former conference winners make the list, showing your job is never too safe in the SEC.

HOT
Ed Orgeron, Ole Miss
With back-to-back losses against Missouri and Vanderbilt, there are at most two or three wins left on the Rebels schedule. That's not going to be enough.

WARM
Phil Fulmer, Tennessee

It's not that they lost at Florida, it's the way they lost. Tennessee looked totally outclassed. out-talented, and out-coached. Vol fans are tired of being also-rans in the SEC East more often than not in recent years.

Houston Nutt, Arkansas
A close loss at Alabama shouldn't be enough to get most coaches in trouble. But with all the off-season controversy in Fayetteville, Arkansas fans are just looking for an excuse to run Nutt out of town.

Sylvester Croom, Mississippi State
The improbable win at Auburn won't save Croom's job all by itself. The Bulldogs will need to show signs of life the rest of the year for Sly to stick around.

LUKEWARM
Tommy Tuberville, Auburn
Auburn fans are mystified as to why things have turned so bad, so quickly. Most of the blame is falling on senior quarterback Brandon Cox, but at some point the coach will have to answer for continuing to put him in the lineup.

Mark Richt, Georgia
Just when you thought it was safe to be ranked, here comes Steve Spurrier, who has tortured more Dawgs than Bad Newz Kennels. There's still time for the Georgia to recover, but the margin of error is not  that great before fans will start grumbling.

I would say that Tuberville and Richt should not be on the same seat. Tuberville lost 2 in a row to questionable competition, although USF is a decent team. Richt lost to a Spurrier coached team that always plays the dawgs tough even before Spurrier got to town. Tuberville should be higher or Richt should be lower.

I doubt that Richt has to worry. I hope Georgia fans are smart enough to realize what they have. Two SEC championships??? Think back to how it was with Goff and Donnan. I personally don't want to go back to anything like that.
