On Saturday, Wilber Marshall will be inducted into the University of Florida football Ring of Honor, becoming the fifth member of an exclusive group of all-time Gator greats.

Marshall, a dominating linebacker during the early 1980s, was not included in the inaugural class of Ring of Honor inductees last season, which surprised many Gator fans. Marshall is widely considered the best defensive player in the history of UF football. A sign will be unveiled during Saturday's game adding Marshall's name alongside those of Steve Spurrier, Jack Youngblood, Emmitt Smith and Danny Wuerffel.

Click here for a look back at Marshall's career and his biggest game, a memorable effort against Southern Cal, from Florida Today.
