You would think that Hokie fans are spoiled! That isn't the case.

When was the last time you saw a team be as successful as the Hokies and have one of the worst offenses in D1A football?

The win at Clemson was a reminder of days passed with the Beamerball antics. T2 showed he is a calm, cool and collected 18 year old freshman QB. The defense showed why it is one of the best in the land (forgetting about the debacle in Baton Rouge). Special teams came through when VT needed it most... Yet, an albatross hangs over the team in terms of offensive production and an injury to a key defensive player.

219 total yds-118 rushing from T2!  BOre is hurting. Is he hurting the team more than helping it? I think so. Stiney, has progressively regressed the offense in his time as the O-Cord. WRs can not get separation. The O-line is just a tad better than a shambles. The coachspeak is the same every week; "we are almost there!" We are 50% through the regular season and, folks, it isn't going to get better. This is what the Hokies have and what we will be watching through the meat of the schedule.

The injury to SR LB Vince Hall is big. I would suspect he will only miss the Duke game this coming weekend and be ready to go (with a huge club on his hand/arm) for the Thursday night BC game. Ed Wang will be starting on the OL this weekend and that should provide a needed boost.

Let me hear your thoughts, Hokie Fans!

See you all in Durham this weekend.
