I don't think Timmons is as good a player in the Tampa 2. Timmons is at his best when he can get after the quarterback, he can't do that in the Tampa 2.

Timmons has shown great speed rushing the passer as he gets off the line very quickly. His problem, that I have seen, is that he is almost always a step or two behind his man.
I think Woodley has the better chance to be a cover-type of backer. He showed great speed in the preseason, and that's why we have seen more of him covering a TE/WR on third down during the season, whereas Timmons has been in more on the line in those situations.
I think both have bright futures though.

We wont know the real deal with Timmons until Farrior is gone. For now its all speculation, but spec is what fannation is all about and what makes it so great. Great blog cooz.
