I decided I was SICK of looking at all these idiots on fannation posting random crap. I am a HUGE football fan, and it actually pains me to see people making obviously wrong statements, not backing up their opinions with fact, spouting off on what they don't know, etc. Even in groups that are for football fans exclusively get infiltrated by dumb people.
And so, I decided to do anything about it. I decided to make the ONLY group on fannation that is exclusively for people who really know their football. You have to apply to get in (sorry, even friends have to apply). But this is all for something. We are looking for a diverse range of people in this group. I don't just want one segment of people. I want any fan who thinks he, or she, can hold their own in a football debate. I want people who know their Xs and Os. I want people love a football debate.
The group will be holding Throwdown tournaments, as well as being a center for debate on anything football. You can also point out to fellow members where stupid people are so we can beat them mercilessly (just kidding... or am I???) Anyone, enough of me blabbering. I'm sure you got the gist by now. I'll set up the application below, and if you have any questions, you can just ask me.
APPLICATION (plese title as "Smart Football Fan Application" or something to that affect):

2. Brief description of why you should be a member
3. Have you done any recent throwdowns on football, and if so, did you win?
4. Have you made any football blogs?
5. About how much would you say that you know about football (honestly)?
