Time to update the list, as we're reaching the point where some coaches are really starting to feel the heat, perhaps beyond the point of no return. Let's see how things stand:

HOT
Phil Fulmer, Tennessee
It's not always how many games you lose, it's who beats you, and how bad they beat you. The Alabama loss is one of those situations. Many Vol fans are ready for a change, and unless Tennessee gets some help and wins the SEC East, there will be a loud outcry for Phil's removal.

Houston Nutt, Arkansas
The Razorbacks look really good against bad teams, but can't seem to beat good teams. If Nutt doesn't get a signature win (or two) down the stretch, he'll have a pretty poor argument to keep his job.

Ed Orgeron, Ole Miss
No SEC wins, but they have been competitive half the time. The other half, they've been awful.  If they somehow pull off an upset in the latter part of the season, Ed might save his job.  It's not looking good.

WARM
Sylvester Croom, Mississippi State

Since that win at Auburn, the Bulldogs have pretty much returned to form.  They've got some really tough games the rest of the way, with the only good chance for a win in the Egg Bowl. But if they were to pick off someone else, maybe Croom gets another year.

LUKEWARM
Mark Richt, Georgia
The loss to Tennessee really hurt their SEC chances, and another loss to the Gators, especially a blowout, will not go over well in Athens.

Steve Spurrier, South Carolina
Despite a pretty good start, the Gamecocks really flopped by losing at home to Vanderbilt. If Spurrier can't get the offense on track, people will begin to wonder if he really can take them to the next level.
