Going around Fannation these past few months, I have seen some funny names. So, that made me want to know: Why did we choose the names we chose? Well, since I am asking the question allow me to be the first to answer.
When I joined Fannation 6 months ago, I chose the profile name of E.J. E.J. are my first and middle initials and I thought, that was easy enough. After it took me a month to realize that I can add photos to my profile, I chose to use a photo of Dwight Yorke (A Soccer Player for those who do not know) as my avatar. That was cool enough, until one day while looking at some pictures in an old Source Magazine I saw the God M.C. Jay-Z rocking a Jet jersey at a concert. You must know two things about me: I'm a big Jet fan, and I have been down with Jigga Man since I first heard Dead Presidents (the original version and not the one that is on Reasonable Doubt) on a bootleg tape that a friend made for me when I was a Freshman in High School back in 1995.
After seeing that picture, I found it on-line and made that my new avatar and added the J.HOVA to the profile name to create J.HOVA A.K.A. EJ.
So, that's my story to how I came to be. Now, let me hear yours.
