We suffering Sacramento Kings fans knew it was going to be ugly, we just didnt know how ugly. Without Mike Bibby for 10 weeks due to surgery and Ron Artest out due to a league suspension, diehard Kings fans, and even one of their veteran players, Brad Miller, knew this opener in New Orleans was virtually unwinnable."The league loves to schedule us against them, I guess," Kings center Brad Miller said. "There's a 1 percent chance of winning games unless you play the perfect game to get them. I've been around this league long enough to know it's a tough environment where you're going to have to play a great game as a team. And obviously, we didn't do that."

The debut of new Kings coach and former player Reggie Theus had a very predictable outcome, with the Hornets leading by as many as 26 points at one point. The combined line for Kings Bibby-less point guards was 6 points and two assists. Contrast that with the Hornets point guard, Chris Paul, getting 22 points and 12 assists, and you can see the Kings were going to be outmatched at every position. "I told them before the game that rebounding and Chris Paul getting into the lane was going to be our problem, and that was our problem," Theus said. "It's beyond frustrating (to be without players), but you have no choice to deal with it. The one thing I told my guys - they didn't stop playing hard, because we were down big."

In summation, the Kings 104-90 defeated has been coined around these parts already as a hard loss in the Big Easy.

I loved Reggie Theus in his sitcom "Hang Time". He was a pretty good actor & still has the potential to be a good coach in real life.

Why would your 'brother' be writing a blog on your account? Particularly since he supposedly hates FanNation? Funny stuff Roy.
