SO, I HAVE BROKEN DOWN THE FREE AGENT SCENARIO.....ABOUT AROD & BONDS

The Angels should sign Arod......he will most likely get $35 million a season, but the location should be the big issue....basically where he wants ot play for the rest of his career.

Boston is very strong with only 2 FA's.....Schilling and Lowell.

Angels....best fit for Bonds - in total for BOTH parties.
Lowell to the Yankees....could be persuaded with bigger money, but he may stay with Boston.

Arod signs with the Dodgers.....or even Angels, with Bonds would be pretty cool with Vlad.

So it looks like the Yankees are gonna go for Santana....which is probably their best move along with keeping the C and Closer. Yankees would be good with adding Lowell and Santana. 

The Angels reall should SIGN BARRY BONDS immediately and then pursue Arod, IF they can get BOTH players they could be adding 80 HRs while losing only 20-25 HRs from the players they are replacing.
