Ahh, another shutout win over Temple. Not much from this 31-0 beatdown except Rodney Kinlaw breaks the 1000 yard mark after not starting or getting all the carries throughout the season. Congrats also to JoePa who improves to a perfect 24-0 over Temple. Now for some other Saturday observations....Michigan losing to Wisconsin? PSU killed WISC 38-7, and lost to MICH 14-9. It's a curse trust me. 73 points in Nebraska. For Nebraska? Unbelievable the turnaround in one week. that Joe Ganz could be the future there. How about Georgia folks? Knowshon Moreno may be the best running back in the SEC that no one has heard of. And Miss. St. becoming bowl eligible? Nice job. Two service academy losses for ND? YES!!! not much else from today...oh yeah WHAT THE HE11 HAPPENED TO THE BUCKEYES???!!!! THERE IS NO EXPLANATION FOR THIS. NONE. BOECKMAN WAS MY HEISMAN PICK. THAT'S DOWN THE TOILET ALONG WITH HIS THREE PICKS. AND OSU BEING #1. FLUSHED DOWN THE HORSESHOE. AND OSU HAS A DEFENSE? JUICE WILLIAMS NEVER GOT THE MEMO!!!! i think I'm okay now. but this game is summarized by a crucial play in the fourth quarter with 7 minutes and change to go. 4 &in for the Illini inside their own 40. after a short talk on the sidelines, Zook sends out the punting unit. Tressel calls a timeout to reorganize his team's formation. during the timeout Juice Williams convinces Zook to let them go for it. the rest is history. Normally I would say GO UNDERDOG! but this does not look good for PSU's bowl padding. winning out with 3 losses gives the Nittany Lions nothing for sure on New Year's Day. and that mess can be explained by my fellow PSU fan(well looking at {the Big Ten} standings....osu/michigan winner will get the BCS game. The loser of that game will have 2 conference losses and will be tied with the illini (assuming they beat NW next week) for second. that means in all probability, those 2 will get capital 1 and out back bowls. We will be tied with wisconsin and hold the tie breaker...this year, 4th pick for big 10 games is alamo bowl. Our only hope is that those bowls don't like illinois for whatever reason and pass on them and take us. Otherwise we're lookin at a 12/29 showdown against a team like colorado or kansas st.) I would agree with Duquesne Cap but there's one thing. If Michigan loses next week they will have 4 overall losses and has lost their ranking by then. No way the Outback takes that over a Top 20 9-3 PSU team (assuming they beat MSU next week) And I know bowls don't like repeats, but let's be logical here. Sorry for the length of this post, but one last thing...if KU wins tonight and wins out...ugh.

I agree OSU losing has to be one of the worst things for the BCS or the Big 10 bowl picture for either Penn State or Wisconsin.

You told me you were at the Boeckman's coming out party at Penn State? did you see the way he tore up the best secondary (arguably the best) in the Big Ten. and when Boeckman pulls himself together and gives Mich he!! then what shall we say? haha

Ya I wasn't going to mention anything about that...but Boeckman is just an average quarterback at best. The number one..or ex number one team in the Nation doesn't have to have a Heisman candidate..thank you Skip Bayless

No, that was more on Penn State's secondary than great play by Boeckman. He's decent, but he ain't no Heisman winner.
