Definitely not VY. It's up between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning (although he looked awful without Harrison and Clark in the lineup on Sunday)

Report Offensive CommentVince young has the ability make a play on his feet, but is not the best QB. In my opinion Brett Favre is the best QB because he has the ability to let a play a develop and then throw a perfectly placed. You don't own most of the NFL QB records by being an okay QB. I am biased though being from Wisconsin.

Report Offensive CommentBrady at #4?
The least he should be is #2. He has everything you would want out of a quarterback.

Report Offensive CommentAmong all the current players listed, I would have to say it's between Brady and Manning with Brady obviously having a better season. But I am surprised that you left out Hasselbeck and Derek Anderson. Both are definitely better than Vince Young.

Report Offensive CommentI can't believe that Ben Roethlisberger isn't getting any votes here.
Some of these guys (Favre, Bulger, McNabb) have been great in the past but are now on the downslope of their careers. Favre is having an incredible season--but he's definitely nearing the twilight of his career.
Brees is really inconsistent...I think this season has shown that very clearly. Palmer is a great QB but he is hampered by his own team. Vince Young...I've got to agree with the other comments that he's not really in the same class as these other guys.
The elite QB's in the league right now are Brady, Peyton Manning, Romo, and Roethlisberger.
Brady is having an incredible season, but I think that has more to do with his receiving corps than with his talent. Besides, I'm convinced that Tom has made a pact with Satan.
Peyton is incredible to watch...he can read defenses so accurately, change plays at the line in an instant...he has the talent and experience that makes him a great QB.
Romo and Roethlisberger are young...a few more seasons of experience for both will do them a world of good...time will only make them better QB's.
My vote for the best long-term prospect is Roethlisberger. He has the talent, the drive, and the committment to become one of the game's all time greats. He has a cannon for an arm (duh), and this season has shown the effort that he has put in to becoming a better player. I think that he is reading defenses much better than he has in the past, he is making better decisions (his interception rate is WAY down from last year), he doesn't flinch under pressure when the pocket is collasping, and when needed, he can run, too. He's a well-rounded QB who just keeps showing improvement.

Report Offensive CommentThe question is who is the best QB now. Brett Favre has shown what he can do with not that great of receivers and a running game that is just now starting to get rolling. People say Tom Brady but look at his receivers, he would make a lot of other QB's look just as good. Stallworth, Moss, and plenty of other good receivers. Are you kidding? Them compared to just Driver and Jennings. If Griese had as good of receivers as Tom Brady, he would be in the talk for best QB. Favre can throw one of the fastest footballs and place in the perfect spot. The only QB that can throw as fast as him is Jay Cutler. Watch out for him in the future.
