In a game that could have easily been lost, Eli Manning, Michael Strahan and the Giants beat the Lions 16-10.  It was a close one in which the Lions were threatening late in the 4th quarter.

Very Late.

Michael Strahan was taking advantages of one-on-one match-ups all day long and the Giants intercepted the ball three times dues to pressure.

There were quite a few plays where the Giants pass coverage had broken down, but due to pressure, today wasn't the case.  Michael Strahan led the way with 3 sacks and I don't know many tackles (6?)

To think he could have retired.  I was one who was irate when he was contemplating retirement.  I saw it as a money thing.

My friend Huggy Bear (he likes the Jets and Cowboys) had text me "Nice win by the G-Men." with 2:43 remaining.  The Lions had the ball with nice field position and one timeout remaining.  After the game, I proceeded to call him and berate him b/c he had texted me when the game was not yet over.

Right Now, I'm watching my local (Gaints) Fox Five news coverage and the lady interviewing Michael Strahan just mentioned the Giants winning last week.  Back to back wins? Really?  Where the f was I?  The Giants lost last week to a better Dallas Cowboy team for the second time.

However, I don't give a caca because today's win makes me happy for the week to come.

Getting back, Eli had a great day was very accurate.  The announcers (Marv Albert Wears Womens Clothes' son and Darryl "Moose" Johnson) were right on with their analysis of Plaxico Burress.  That hurts Eli too.

Eli spread the ball around all day and Madison Hedgecock was a nice surprise.  He can catch and break tackles.  I'm glad the Giants locked him up.

Sinorice Moss was another nice surprise with a couple of good  catches.  However, his fumble was very uncalled for.

Futhermore, Leave Eli Alone!  I'm going to hire the Britney kid to say that about Eli.  I tried to get through to the Michael Kay show to talk about Eli and how happy I am with him as the quarterback.

No interceptions today.  He handled the game highly efficiently and put the ball in some very small windows of space where only his receivers could catch the ball.

Finally, Everybody knocks him.  Give him some time.  He will rise to level of greatness.

PS;  Sucked to see so many Giant injuries today.  Kiwankua is a great player...hope he gets better quick.

Got a feeling Jacobs will be back.  It was great to see that Detriot defender bounce off of him.

Where is Steve Smith?

Sinorice Moss (a similiar type-player) had a good game today sans the fumbles.

Eli will only get better. He is too hard on himself. I think that slows his progress.
